time waits for no one

I'm currently addicted to a nintendo DS game and therefore have not got any time to do any drawings. Absolutely no self control. No time management skills. But I don't even care. Nintendo DS rules.

It's a balancing act

Taking ages doing up a label for my sister. Something she can use to price up her clothes. Sometimes I think about quitting and just doing art stuff, because it is hard to juggle lots of stuff at once. I don't have it.

Time waster

Need to have a timetable so that I don't waste my days off. Should spend time drawing, rather than surfing on the net all the time.

cropped and nudged

can you see the difference? tried fixing the background, make the patterns more aligned, which took ages. Then had to move some of them again as they all kept on hiding behind the foreground.
wow the colour changed. strange. Does this happen to JPEGs often?? its glow in the dark russian dolls. Yeah, I'm not very computer literate, if you hadn't figured it out already.

textile

I take so long rearranging things on photoshop!
I hope the edges fit together. Trying to come up with some patterns for my sister who is going to get some materials printed. not too sure about the tadpole like shapes behind the dolls.

Shading

I like doodling on bits of paper that's already been used before. When I start drawing on a brand new piece of paper I get nervous, and can't draw like usual.
Can really see that I'm not seeing things straight when I look at what I have drawn. That bottle is leaning towards the left.
I was planning on shading more space but it is time consuming.

m & m

This week I watched an Australian clay animation film called Mary and Max. Everything was so well made and in a lot of detail. I liked the raindrops on the window, how did they make it look so real??? I don't think it is being shown in many cinemas. Many cool looking old people were watching the film, which surprised me, as I thought this type of film will attract a young crowd. I think everyone except me in the cinema were in their fifties or sixties.
